| Composer: (05. 02. 1918 - 1982) Baku. A qualitatively new period in the Azerbaijan movie music is linked with two great representatives of the national composer school - G. Garayev and T. Guliyev. Both their first experiences in music in 1940s. The music G. Garayev written for different film genre, documentary or others, characterized by high artistic qualities, dramatic range, expressive force and true symphonic essence. G. Garayev viewed movie music as a key means of expressing the dramatic core rather that a passive accompaniment. People's Artist of USSR, USSR's State Awards Laureate, Lenin's State Awards Laureate. |
