The film "Confession" (after the novel of Nagib Mahfouz) was demonstrated on 14-th of August 2001, in Egyptian Cultural Centre in Baku. The film was shot in 1992 it was demonstrated in some international film festivals - In Cairo, Ashgabad, Tashkent, Almaty. It got the prize and diploma in international film festival "The Firuza Spring". The director (Shamil Y. Aliyev) of the film showed the original philosophical Approach to religion, death, and love. The symposium was opened by the director of Egyptian Cultural Centre - Saleh Mashal. He valued the meaninig of the film nighly and noted the special role of association of cultural values of Different nations. There were the famous cinematographers such as H. Omarova, M. Maniyev, N. Akhundova, Z. Sadykhova and etc. H. Omarova said: "When the film is shoot there are two things - the first one is the filming and the second one is the theme of the work. The director of the Film Shamil Y. Aliyev chose the second way - he polemized in together with N. Mahfouz. I can define the stylistics so - philosophio - psychological film"

I  AUDIOVISUAL FESTIVAL

The first audiovizual festival was held on the 12-14-th 2001 of October in the "Ganjlik" Centre of Zagulba. The contest was held among young professionals. The competition defined the best documentary film, author's telecast, the clip, aaan advertisement, the computer graphic, student's work, the director, the producer. The Jury Was head - Rasim Ojagov. The members of the jury were the director - Vasif Babayev, the screenwriter - Ramiz Rovshan, the art director Elbey Rzaguliyev, the telejornalist - G. Maharramov. The president of the festival -Ayaz Salayev, the director - manager - J. Guliyev
